Travel Day. I’m riding 165 miles across the mountains from Concepcion del Oro to the nearest gas station which is in Nieves. The road starts off as cobblestone and takes me to the peak of the mountain at 9,000 feet. The road then settles down and turns into gravel.

It turns out some of the roads were asphalt so I made great time. I decided to keep it going and high tail it to the next time. I make a wrong turn and start traveling on the side of fields.
hmm… This road keeps getting more remote.
Ok, so now the road has officially dead ended. It’s getting dark too.
